I don't disagree with you often, but this time I must. The hottest thing in tights is Damaas Thijs who can be seen in Maurice Bejart's "Nutcracker".
Here's a link to a photo http://www.ficobalet.org/bio6slo.htm
The Bejart "Nutcracker" is a very unconventional production of the ballet, having very little to do with the original conception, but I enjoyed it tremendously and a good part of the reason is Damaas Thijs. Damaas is great. Great dancer, incredible personality coming through in his performance, and he has a great bod.
love it when you disagree and send something i haven't cum across
i think it's great when companies take a standard work and have a new take on it
there are plenty of big companies (like the royal ballet in london) which preserve the classics - so it's good that smaller companies don't compete (to their loss) and do something different or even radical
so i'll check out that site now (thanks for sending it!) and probably have a new favorite!
you probably know this but there's a russian site that allows you to download the bejart 'nutcracker' - 250MG but worth it to transfer off the puter to DVD:
I didn't know about the Russian site for the Bejart "Nutcracker". I saw it on the Ovation Network on cableTV. It was part of their "Battle of the Nutcrackers" which aired during the Christmas season, of course. The Bejart came in third. Ovation's a great place for anyone with a hankering for some kultcha. Their website is ovationtv.com.
The live Metropolitan Opera performances I listen to on the radio are broadcast by a local public broadcasting radio station, WAMC-FM. I listen over the internet at their website wamc.org Tomorrow's broadcast, starting at noon, New York time, is Wagner's Götterdämmerung. I know what I'm doing for five hours tomorrow.
Looks like he's been watching ice gayting.

Corsaire may be an old creaky warhorse but Corella sure isn't.
